He was also a founding director of The Southern California Legal Foundation, The Foundation for the Defense of Free Enterprise and ACT-PAC, a local political action committee. He was one of two private industry members of the City of Santa Monica's TORCA Advisory Board, where he represented the interests of property owners. While still politically active, in recent years Wes has concentrated on his rapidly growing business. Prior to involvement in the real estate business, Wes was a CPA. He holds a business degree from the University of California at Los Angeles.
